2. Digging Holes for Landscaping
We live in an area of Indiana that the soil is actually very heavy clay 4 to 6 inches below the topsoil. To have a suitable planting hole that drains properly, the hole must be at least 24 to 30 inches deep, many times, deeper. The clay must actually all be removed and replaced with good planting soil. The Bull Digger really simplifies the whole process.

3. Digging Holes in Caliche & Hard Pan
"The Bull Digger Post Hole Digger is a Caliche Monster! ...After about 4 twists I was down about 5 inches and had a “caliche muffin” ready to just pull out of the hole. I was down about 19 inches in no time. I am using a 6 gallon Shop Vac and the Bull Digger moves so much real estate I find myself emptying it a LOT .

PS. Actually I’m almost afraid to use it in soft dirt . It might go so fast that I’ll fall into the hole behind the Bull Digger

4. Flower Bed Hole Digger
This is a positive testimonial from a very satisfied rose grower for a new product that I purchased and use, called the Bull Digger.
This new product will make digging rose planting holes, or holes used for anything, a much simpler task. If you are like me, each year I vow to not to buy or plant any new or different rose varieties, but I always do.

5. Portable Suction Excavator
The Bull Digger converts you shop vac into a "Portable Suction Excavator". The Bull Digger is useful in being able to remove earth from around existing buried utility services or tree roots with much less risk of damaging them than using a conventional shovel or post hole digger with a metal scoop.

This type of excavation is held to be a safe and efficient form of excavation. Using your shop vac the Bull Digger can dig precise holes, trenches and tunnels.

6. Digging Holes in Sand & Crushed Stone
The best was to set a Sonotube is to pour and grade your gravel first. Mark the position of the Sonotube and sink the tube into place, wiggling the tube back and forth and side to side until you get to the proper depth. Next hook your Bull Digger up the your shop vac and suck out the gravel inside the tube. This is the fastest and most accurate way I know to set a Sonotube into gravel. This also works great in sand as well.
